Big relief for the citizens of Nagpur as the three suspected coronavirus patients from Nagpur whose swab samples were sent to the National Institute of Virology (NIV) Pune have tested negative. And no other cases are reported in the city until now.

Among the three suspects, one of them was a businessman who visited China for business purposes. He was admitted to the GMCH. And after the result came out he was discharged. Another one a girl medical student who had returned to India in January also approached the GMCH authorities. Another suspect who is also a businessman who had been to China in December also admitted the GMCH when he experienced flu-like symptoms.

As per information, the government hospitals in Nagpur are fully prepared and equipped for handling the situation. And isolation ward ready in case of more suspects report to the hospital.

And doctors have advised people to stay alert and take necessary precautions. Also advised people to approach government hospitals if they experience fever, running nose and respiratory problems.
