National Basketball Association (NBA), the organizers of the World Best Basketball league. In the United States, for the third time, it will carry out its comprehensive youth basketball initiative for three days in the city on Tuesday.

The grassroots basketball initiative is for boys and girls who go to school and is part of the NBA Reliance Foundation Jr. program. Nagpur District Basketball Association (NDBA) will provide all local support.

On the opening day of the three-day event, the American Association will make the students of the school, both in the category of boys and girls, train in a challenge of skills in the twin courts of Nagpur University in Ravi Nagar on Tuesday. Players in three age groups over 10 will be eligible to participate in the event that is free for all schools.

The skills challenge will be performed by the NBA Jr. international coach. Marko Lepovic from the United States. Lepovic is an accomplished coach who has participated in the training in three countries: Serbia, Norway and the United States.

On February 26 and 27, a two-day inter-school basketball championship for U-14 boys and girls will be organized. Last year, the NBA selected two city cagers, Shomira Bidaye and Dhara Phate, to represent the country at the Jr NBA World Championship in Florida.

NDBA secretary Bhavesh Kuchanwar has appealed to all schools for their students to participate in both events.
