With the beginning of Mission Begin Again’, the Nagpur Municipal Corporation gave some relief to the citizens by relaxation of the lockdown. However, people are fearlessly violating the guidelines given by the state government. As a result, the number of Covid-19 patients in Nagpur is increasing rapidly from the last few days.
The virus is still between us and even then the market is getting crowded while no social distancing is being followed. The situation of re-lockdown is being created due to this behavior of the citizens.
Considering the current scenario and to prevent the spread of corona in the markets, Mayor Sandeep Joshi will start a public awareness tour from today under which he will inspect various public places in the city to check whether the guidelines of Covid-19 are followed or not. During the visit, the Mayor will be accompanied by the Zone’s head.

The civic authorities have issued some rules regarding the shops. As per the instructions, the shops in the market area are scheduled to open on one day on one side and the other day on the other side. The shopping hours are from 9 am to 7 pm.
It is the responsibility of the shop owners to ensure that the customers who come to the shop follow social rules and use masks.
